Sketch Challenge

Happy Saturday everyone,  its time for another Challenge on SSDS,  this week is Sketch week, I went a little outside the box for this brief and chose to make the any shape the main feature on the front its a A5 card I adore this tag from the Cricut Winter Wonderland cartridge the A5 is  folded down the middle on the front part,  I used some 12 x 12 Christmas papers for the DPs on the front and inside on the easel (type) card, all the shapes where cut using thr Cricut.

Letter to Santa

Well I finally managed to make a card for a challenge this afternoon, I used my New Stamp,  bought last weekend at Stamperama,   although it's not a new out stamp its new to my stash and I think he's fab,  I coloured this chap in with PM's to match the Basic Grey Jovial Papers which I adore, the Greeting is from Craftork cards and I just added some Card Candi and a Poinsetta I took out the yellow middle and added a small brad as I wanted to make this card more Male looking,  the edges of the image I distressed as they looked too White against the papers.

Get well soon/Sympathy DT

Over on SSDS this week the Theme is Get Well Soon/Sympathy card so I had a good old rummage through my Stamps and found this super cute Hedgehog stamp which was a freebie set in a magazine,  I think it fits just perfectly  you can sense the alarm going off and just staying under the covers in the warm :-)  The image was coloured in with a range of PM's.  The DP's are from a good friend and Ive been itching to use them for ages the colours are just perfect, I mounted the image onto Black Card and added some Silk flowers, WOC roses in shades to match the DP's some Bling and the greeting is from a Papermania Clare Curd set of greetings.

Photo Inspiration DT

Good Weekend  everyone,  well what a busy one no time to post my blog until now, just back from a craft show with a few extra goodies to add to my collection :-)

On SSDS this week's card is a Photo Inpired creation using Papers and Digi's supplied by Robyns Fetish . The Fabulous Oriental paper collection and I used this fab Cat image coloured in with PM's and I added some 3d glaze for extra dimension on the Heart and his nose.  I also wanted some glitter on this make so I added a Strip of DS tape to the edge og the Punched trelis and covered it in Gold Glitter it adds a bit of sparkle and makes it nice a neat at the same time.

I'm a little late posting today, this week over on SSDS the theme is Friendship and our sponsor for our second week is Paper Fashions etc and they supplied lots of Fabby Friendship digi's to use,  I chose the Rose mug and this sentiment as they go perfectly together, the colour's I picked are Pinks and Turquoise.

Back to School

This week the theme was Back to School, I dont do many Children's cards I have to be totally honest so I was out of my comfort zone with no Flowers, gems and sparkles,   this week over at SSDS we are sponsored by Paper Fashions Etc and they sent me some Fab Writing paper as a backing sheet and a Lunch bag which I coloured in with my PM's ,  mid way through organising this make my Printer packed up so I had to hot foot it to PC World for a new one,   I printed out the lunch bag and coloured with PM's and its raised with 3d pads the other Embellishmwents are some Back to School Stickers from Karen Foster Designs.

Hostess with the Mostess

For my make this week I used the Hostess with the Birthday cake and candles,  all the Items for the hostess tray can by printed off individually and there are lots to choose from, drinks, Turkey dinners, Cakes, Hors d'orves you name it its there..  I coloured on my Hostess wih PM's to match the papers.  The base card is A5  the square of DP is 5 x 5 and its the Tea Time Collection. I added Flags of Tea time paper at the top with some bling and the bottom tags are foled over to give the label tag look.
